Voice of the Fans NFL Supremacy Rankings: Volume #1

The Philadelphia Eagles Defense led by #90 Jordan Davis, #97 Moro Ojomo, and #22 Mac McWilliams, is leading the way for them to return to the NFL Playoffs.

Similar to college football, which releases its initial rankings to provide a more comprehensive list midway through the season. We have taken a similar approach with our initial rankings lists. Each week moving forward, our list will be modified to provide NFL fans with an understanding of which NFL teams have earned the top rankings in the Voice of the Fans Supremacy Rankings of the 2025 NFL season:

5) Green Bay Packers: Their late off-season acquisition of Edge Rusher Micah Parsons vaults this team into Super Bowl contention. Can his presence help out the defense enough to complement their youthful offense, led by 5th year quarterback Jordan Love? Either way, the addition of Parsons has lifted the expectations of the Packers this season.

4) Los Angeles Chargers: This team has shown flashes of dominance under new head coach Jim Harbaugh while still ironing out offensive inconsistencies. Their rookie running back, Omarion Hampton, has proven he can carry the workload. Their young receiver, Quentin Johnston, has seemingly overcome the early career hiccups of a young player and is now ready to shine for Justin Herbert.

3) Detroit Lions: After the initial loss of the season, the Lions have shown the league that they are still one of the premier teams in the NFL. The Lions are putting up 34.3 points per game as they get a feel for their new offensive and defensive coordinators. This team still has something to prove… and with the expectations that Dan Campbell has brought in recent years, they are proving to be a legit NFC contender.

2) Buffalo Bills; Josh Allen, the league’s reigning MVP, has been just as clutch this season, leading the Bills to a 4-0 record. James Cook has gained 100 yards rushing in three straight games and has emerged as a reliable workhorse. Allen has developed his ball security and his dual-threat ability, combined with Cook’s consistency on the ground, is truly driving their success.

Complimenting their running attack is the fact that they have committed the fewest turnovers in the league. Their +31-point differential and turnover margin enable them to control every game they’ve played this season, leading to the Bills being only one of two undefeated teams remaining in the NFL.

1) Philadelphia Eagles; I am a firm believer that the championship-winning experience has lifted the confidence of this already overachieving team. Not only have they proven they know how to win in this short season, but the Eagles’ success comes from an opportunistic defense, supreme special teams, and clutch execution on third downs and in the red zone.

The Eagles’ Top 5 ranking in turnovers, combined with Jalen Hurts playing with the poise of a Super Bowl Champion, means the Eagles are on a 17-game win streak, including last season’s playoffs. Hurts’ mobility and short-yardage prowess have helped him deliver in high-leverage moments.

This list is fluid and is meant to highlight the best teams currently playing in the NFL. When compiling this list, we have taken into account injuries, scheduling, and steady play. Feel free to provide your feedback on who you think should be the top team in the National Football League.
